This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists, which states in part: 'This painting depicts designs associated with the soakage site of Pukaratjina, west of the Kiwirrkura community. There is a small red ochre pit at this site. In mythological times a group of Tingari Men camped at this site before travelling east to Tarkul, north of Mount Webb.'
