This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists which states: 'Boxer has painted some of his country along the floodplains and channels of Sturt Creek or Purkitji. The hook shapes are the channels and tributaries of Purkitji running through the red sandy country of the area, while the blue central line is the main channel of Purkitji. The yellow area are the yuka, or spinifex plains of the area.'
