This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs, which reads in part: 'The roundels in this painting depict two soakage water sites at Kulkuta, situated among sandhills, south west of the Tjkula community. In mythological times a large group of Tingari men travelled from this site to Kaakuratintja (Lake MacDonald).'
