Condition:
This work is in fair and stable condition.
At some time in the past the work has incurred three minor breakages, which have been repaired.
The breakages involved the limbs being reattached are:
• Front left figure – the left ankle and left arm have been reattached and the left arm appears to have been reattached at the wrong rotation, as the yellow glaze appears to be out of place.
• The back right figure with arms extended – the left arm at the shoulder has been reattached.
There is a fine layer of surface dust in the crevices of the ceramic figures, which could be easily correct with a light surface clean.
There is a short crack to the underside of the base (through the title inscription), which appears to have been infilled with an orange-coloured medium. This appears stable.
There are no chips or damage to the edges of the shell.
