Condition:
This work is in good and stable condition.
There are some small areas in the lighter coloured paint, which have discoloured (yellowed) over time.
There are some minor surface blemishes or abrasions across the surface of the work consistent with age, the materials used and the artist’s working methods.
There are a horizontal series of old surface abrasions along the top edge of the work, which can be viewed in the online catalogue image enlargement and could be corrected with some minor conservation.
There appears to be some areas with old surface dirt, which could be corrected with a light surface clean.
The work is housed in its original handmade artist’s frame.
