This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists which states:
'This painting depicts some of Helicopter's traditional country, which is located far to the south of Balgo in The Great Sandy Desert. This country is known as Nyanaday, which takes its name from the tjurrnu, or soakwater depicted in the centre of the painting. The majority of the painting, like the landscape it depicts, is dominated by talis, or sand dunes. Nyanaday was only depended on for water during the cooler months, as it would run dry during the hotter months.'
