This work is in very good and near original condition. On close inspection, there are fine, old, stable drying cracks visible to the right side of the figure’s head. In an area of thick, white impasto at the upper left, there are fine surface cracks and a small associated loss of paint. These areas are visible in the online image enlargement. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of past restoration.
