This work is in very good, stable and near original condition. This work has been viewed out of its frame and is not laid down. The pastel and charcoal drawing, along with the signature and date, retain their strong clarity and fine detail. The buff coloured paper support has faded evenly, consistent with age. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of past restoration
