Condition:
This work is in very good, stable and near original condition.
Ultraviolet light inspection reveals several spots of old cosmetic retouching, which are:
· small area to upper left beside the ballerina’s face
· to the right edge of the ballerina’s hair and right shoulder
· small spots upper right quadrant
· lower left of Ballerina’s costume edge
· beside the Ballerina’s lower left leg
Each of these is old, stable and only visible under ultraviolet light.
The work is housed in a painted moulded timber frame.
