Condition:
This work is in very good, stable and near original condition.
There is a minor 6 cm vertical surface abrasion to the lower left edge, some small horizontal abrasions to the right lower edge and a small number of flecks of paint loss across the surface of the composition. These are minor and visible in the enlarged online catalogue image.
Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of past restoration.

The work is housed in a dark painted timber frame with gilt face and linen slip.
