This work is in excellent, stable and near original condition.
Three areas of impasto white oil paint, used in the two pillows and light bulb, have discoloured slightly over time.
This discolouration can be viewed in the online catalogue image enlargement.
Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of past restoration.
The work is housed in the artist’s original exhibition frame.
