Condition:
This work is in very good, stable and near original condition.
There is a minor 1 cm horizontal surface scratch to the shoulder of the small child and another 2 cm vertical scratch to the arm of the girl together with minor paint loss to her little finger.
These surface blemishes are minor and visible in the enlarged online catalogue image.
Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of past restoration.
The work is housed in a timber gilt frame with linen slip.
