Condition:
This work is in very good, stable and near original condition.
There is a minor 2 cm vertical surface abrasion to the right of the central figure and another 1 cm diagonal abrasion to her arm.
These are minor and visible in the enlarged online catalogue image.
Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of past restoration.
The work is housed in a dark stained timber frame with gilt internal edges and linen slip.
