This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists that states: ‘Sam has painted the dominant aspect of the landscape of his country. Sam’s country is south of Balgo around Wilkinkarra, or Lake Mackay. Tali, or sand dunes are the major feature of the landscape around Wilkinkarra.’
