Deutscher and Hackett is pleased to offer this selection of works from the Felicity St John Moore Collection, Melbourne. A rare opportunity to acquire works chosen by a true connoisseur, this personal collection reflects a lifetime of scholarship of Australian art and direct connections with the artists she championed.

During her extensive career, Felicity worked as Federal Director of the Arts Council of Australia, Assistant Curator of Education and Principal lecturer at the National Gallery of Australia, Head of Education at Christie’s Australia, and curated major exhibitions for the National Gallery of Victoria and the collections of National Australia Bank, ANZ Bank and Western Mining Corporation. She authored numerous exhibition catalogues and a major monograph on the artist Danila Vassilieff, Vassilieff and his Art, first published in 1982 and then as an expanded second edition in 2012.

Encapsulating a lifetime’s experience of looking at and contemplating Australian art, the 33 works on offer here derive from Felicity’s personal collection.
